Launch Control
Featured on every RC F, new Launch Control* is a key component of the vehicle’s lightning-fast acceleration off the line. This track-ready technology seamlessly allows the driver to hold the optimal rpm for launch. The throttle control within this sophisticated system helps eliminate wheelspin and maximize grip, propelling the vehicle virtually instantaneously.
Torque Vectoring Differential
Putting added control into the hands of the driver, the RC F features two advanced handling systems: a standard TORSEN®* limited-slip differential now paired with new lightweight hollow half shafts that push power to the rear wheels to help maximize grip, or an available rear Torque Vectoring Differential that dynamically distributes more torque to the outside rear wheel to help rotate the vehicle through the turn while also helping you hold your line with unprecedented precision.
Eight-Speed Sport Direct-Shift Transmission
For dynamic performance on and off the track, the eight-speed Sport Direct-Shift transmission offers manual control through large, steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Precisely positioned for faster gear changes, they deliver split-second upshifts and nearly seamless downshifts. And, in automatic mode, the transmission's AI Shift Control features a G-sensor that detects when the RC F enters a curve, and holds the lower gear throughout for optimal response when accelerating out.
