It’s designed for adventure whether you go with the available 6.7L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel or the new available 7.3L OHV gas V8, With unique front springs and off-road shocks, limited-slip and locking rear differentials so you don’t get stuck and axles designed to handle deeper water. Plus its two-inch front lift and revised front air dam keep you higher off the ground. As do the 35-inch tires that are the biggest standard tires on any heavy-duty truck. Plus selectable Rock Crawl and Trail Control modes, both provide enhanced control in demanding low-speed all-terrain conditions.
Tested More Than 19 Million Times
The latest generation of the Ford Super Duty® was subjected to more than 19 million miles of testing, under real and simulated conditions, at temperatures from -20 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Powertrain tests replicated going up a six-degree grade over 500 miles. Super Duty was also subjected to four-post frame twists, gravel, dust, water, brine, mud baths and even intentionally tested with worn or broken parts. Such extreme conditions often went far beyond what you would likely encounter on your toughest of jobs.
2020 Super Duty APPEARANCE
The 2020 Super Duty® offers an available twin-panel moonroof - so go ahead, let the light in!
Lightweight Body. Strong Frame and Chassis
The Super Duty® has the only high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body in its class. Aluminum alloy is substantially lighter than the previous steel body, yet it’s remarkably strong. It’s also more dent-and-ding resistant and not subject to rust. Use of aluminum alloy allowed some of the weight savings to be reinvested where it matters the most, especially in the frame that’s the foundation of strength and toughness.
Rear Seat Storage and Locking Under-Seat Storage
You’ll appreciate the convenience of Super Duty® interior design when you need to carry cargo and other items inside the cab. Both the SuperCab and Crew Cab models have a rear flat load floor that helps make it easy to load large cargo. The SuperCab features rear hinged doors that open 170 degrees for easy loading. And the four-door Crew Cab offers an available class-exclusive folding lockable under-seat box that is integrated with the floor of the vehicle for storing loose items or things you’d want to keep concealed and secure.

It's rush hour on the interstate. You're towing a boat. And you need to change lanes. If this situation sounds daunting, it usually is. But available BLIS with Trailer Coverage can help ease lane-change anxiety - even with a trailer in tow. It can alert you not only when a vehicle is spotted in your blind spot, but alos when one is alongside the trailer.
Pre-Collision Assist With Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
We should all drive defensively, but sometimes other people's lack of attention can create a hazard. Thsi feature scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don't take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But don't worry - they'll only activate if they're needed.
