8-Speed Dual-Clutch Transmission
Quick on its feet just like you are, the ILX offers an 8-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). Faster, smoother, and more efficient, this race-inspired transmission was engineered for optimal agility, perfect for a go-getter like you who’s looking to experience an exhilarating ride while maneuvering through your day.
Quick On Its Feet
The 2019 ILX boasts an impressive power-to-weight ratio. Which means that, for its size, it’s one of the most powerful cars in its class. It’s also engineered for top notch agility, so you can be nimble as you make your way through your day.
Your Future, Handled
Advanced engineering and precision craftsmanship, including Amplitude Reactive Dampers make the ILX road-responsive, fun-to-drive, and perfect for handling any situation.
Rear Cross Traffic Monitor
When reversing, the Rear Cross Traffic Monitor uses radar to detect vehicles approaching from the side and can alert the driver to their presence with an audible warning and visual alerts in the rear camera display.
2019 ILX APPEARANCE
The beautifully-sculpted hood and Diamond Pentagon grille highlight the fierce front end, while the redesigned trunk and taillights round out the rear aesthetics. Exuding bumper-to-bumper power and prestige, the 2019 ILX catches your eye, while turning heads.
Jewel Eye LED Headlights
Step into the spotlight with Jewel Eye® LED Headlights. With 4 LED outer lamps dedicated to normal lighting and 3 inner lamps for high-beam, the 7 LED projectors showcase your stylish sensibilities in bright fashion.
The premium paint process involves the use of successively tinted clear coats, resulting in a noticeable rich luster. The 2019 ILX comes available in several vibrant upgrade colors, including Majestic Black Pearl, Performance Red Pearl, Canyon Bronze Metallic or the A-Spec exclusive Apex Blue Pearl.
Acura ILX COMFORT
Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control
GPS tracks the sun’s position relative to the car while a solar sensor measures its intensity and adjusts system output to keep the set temperature for each of the system’s dual-zones. You and your front passenger enjoy temperature and airflow that suits each of you best.
On Demand Multi-Use Display (ODMD 2.0)
The On Demand Multi-Use Display™ is an intuitive touch screen that combined all the controls you need in one striking 7-inch color system. It puts audio, climate and programmed shortcuts at your fingertips, all with haptic feedback you can feel.
Tuned by Grammy award-winning record engineer and producer Elliot Scheiner, the ILX offers an available ELS Studio® Premium Audio System. With crystal clear audio clarity, surround sound and noise cancellation technology, this audio system is your personal symphony on wheels.
2019 Acura ILX SAFETY & WARRANTY
4-year/50,000-mile limited warranty
Blind Spot Information System
If the ILX detects a vehicle in the next lane's alert zone while going over 20 MPH, an indicator appears on the side mirror. If you signal in the direction of that vehicle, the mirror indicator flashes and a warning beep sounds.
Multi-View Rear Camera
The Multi-View Rear Camera with Dynamic Guidelines produces a display whenever "Reverse" is engaged. Three separate views allow the driver to select one to best serve the situation. And when backing out of parking spots, a wide angle helps reveal what's behind the ILX - perfect to look for approaching vehicles or pedestrians.
Road Departure Mitigation System
The Road Departure Mitigation System uses a camera to identify lane lines and even objects on the side of the road. If it senses the ILX veering, it can warn you — and even brake as it assists you back into your lane.
Collision Mitigation Braking System
Distractions happen, so the Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™) can alert you to obstacles detected ahead. It’s programmed to provide visual alerts when it determines a crash is possible – and if you don’t react, it can brake for you.
